Additional Info: U2 singer Bono spray painted “Rock and Roll, Stop the Traffic” on the Vaillancourt fountain during a free concert at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco, California on November 11, 1987. The painting of the fountain became a big controversy, which was documented in the U2 film “Rattle and Hum.”
