On November 22, 1963, at 12:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas. An event that had tremendous global impact and forever changed the world. Photographer Dragomir Vukovic remembers that day like it was yesterday, as a child in Yugoslavia hearing the news and crying over the loss. Last year, while attending a gallery opening in a hair salon, that feeling of sadness and loss came over him again as he looked down and saw an original copy of the Los Angeles Times from November 23, 1963. You can feel the impact of that day in this photograph.
