WOODSTOCK 1969: THREE-DAYS OF PEACE AND MUSIC

In 1969, on this weekend, the Woodstock Music and Art Fair took place in Bethel, New York, about 40 miles southwest of the town of Woodstock. This three-day festival, attended by over 460,000 people, became the largest music event in history and a symbol of the 1960s peace movement and counter-culture. Despite the rain, 32 music acts performed and gave the world some of the most memorable performance. We've curated vintage memorabilia from the event and its iconic film, as well as period posters from some of the artists who took the stage.
