The same tanks that routed the hun - manned by the same Yanks, will exhibit here. This is a fantastic historic poster of one of the original tank designs for WW1. Notice that the top of the tank does not turn, like contemporary and modern tanks. In fact the only way to shoot out of this tank was if the enemy was in view from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock! In reality the first tanks were death traps, for if a bullet were to get inside, it would ricochet around killing or at least wounding, and destroying the inside mechanics. During WW1 the common American person had little clue as to what was actually going on overseas. In order to drum up both patriotism and to enlighten their people the US government would exhibit their artillery and their ranks. This is precisely what this poster is for, to inform and inspire!
