| Additional Information: | Original lithographic poster printed in colors, Martin Peikert's 1938 poster invites you to the picturesque ski resort of Pontresina. Often overshadowed by its neighbor St. Moritz, Pontresina still retains its village character. Peikert highlights the towns unique architectural features; thick stone walls with their funnel shaped windows and playful ornamentation on the windows, building facades and corners. In the background can be seen the highest peaks of Piz Palu rising from floor of the Engadin valley. |
