Hamburg Amerika Linie (Hamburg-America Line) Rich, bold colors in this Mediterranean Cruise poster. Linen backed and in great condition. M.S. Or S.S. Milwaukee was built in 1929 was in the Caribbean service, 1945 captured at Kiel, renamed Empire Waveney. The Board of Trade wreck report for 'Empire Waveney', was wrecked or destroyed in a ship fire in 1946. (Court records: By whom was the "Empire Waveney" owned at the time of the casualty? A. The Minister of War Transport on behalf of the Crown.) This is an Original Lithograph Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction.
