Additional Information: | Original Bains de Mer de la Manche vintage poster. Artist Georges Meunier. Archival linen backed in good condition, ready to frame. Printer: Chaix (Jules Cheret) in 1922. Stone lithograph. The 'baths of the sea'. Seascape. It shows a lady fish monger with the catch of the day along side a docked small fishing boat. In the shadow there is a man in a small rowboat unloading today’s catch on the docks. In the background you will see the city of Granville on the hillside. Travel by train (Chemins de Fer de L’Etat) to come and visit the west coast beaches of France. Condition. Lower left bottom corner was restored. There was a center fold mark (horizontally) that was corrected at the time of linen backing. Bright and vivid colors. Beautiful design work by the artist.
