Additional Information: | This 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) War Bonds poster encouraged citizens to help the war effort, and featured a classic Saturday Evening Post cover art of a variety of Americans of different faiths praying. Note that this was one of a set of four designed by artist Norman Rockwell, commonly referred to as "The Four Freedoms" which were printed in three sizes: 20" x 28", 28" x 40", and 40" x 56", and each was printed and distributed by the U.S. Government Printing Office in 1943. |
