In the 1920s Blaupunkt had a different name. In 1923, when the radio broadcast the first time in Germany, the company "Ideal" was founded in Berlin. At first the company made headphones. Every single piece was carefully checked by technicians and marked with a quality symbol - the blue dot. A year later, in 1924, the blue dot was registered as a trademark at the Reichspatentamt in Berlin. However, it should still take 15 years before the logo became a company name, from "Ideal" the Blaupunkt Werke GmbH. History: Blaupunk: 1932 - First car radio in Europe. The ladies now increasingly stuck themselves behind the wheel and moved so this quickly become the focus of advertisers. This is an Original Lithograph Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction.
