The last time this poster was document at auction was 2002. Printed in Germany. If you look closely at image there is a tiny corner on this image but otherwise the image is in excellent condition. The image features the baker presenting the shop full of various types of breads, pastry, cookies and cakes. It Italy you still go to the "Negozio del pane" to purchase your daily bread. At the turn of the century when bread was pure and without preservatives, bread only lasted 1 day before it turned hard. Great very rare early art that is suitable for your kitchen or dining room.
