Presented in a 16" x 20" acid free archival museum mat. "Realier-Dumas was a native Parisian. In his poster work, which is rather infrequent and rare, he adopted a technique, of simple lines, flat colours, and economy of design. Maindron said of him that he seems to derive his inspiration from Greek vases; and indeed, (Galerie Georges Petit) manifests a certain classic austerity that could well be so described" (Wine Spectator, 38) |
