Hand signed by the artist Razzia in black ink; archival linen backed in excellent condition ready to frame. The official poster of the 1998 Concours d’Elegance captures the sleek lines of the Talbot Lago with a fashionable lady's hat resting on the grass. An art deco airplane is flying overhead. This is an original Louis Vuitton 1998 Parc De Bagatelle Concours d 'Elegance poster promoting the event that was sponsored by Louis Vuitton. The Louis Vuitton Classic contests have always gathered and rewarded the most beautiful cars in the world. These have been mainly held in the “Parc de Bagatelle” in Paris, as well as in England at the Hurlington Club of London and at one time in the United States at Rockefeller Center in New York. The Concours was founded in 1988 by two avid tiffs named Antoine Pruned and Christian Philipson with backing from French magazine Automobiles Caciques. French luxury goods manufacturer Louis Vuitton became a main sponsor in 1989. After Automobiles Caciques pulled out, Louis Vuitton took over, eventually becoming owners. The Concours has generated offspring in England, Switzerland, Italy and in the USA. This LOUIS VUITTON CONCOURS 1998 is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction.
