Michel Landi
Michel Landi (b. 1932) a prolific French poster artist with more than 1,500 posters to his name, including such classics as Bullitt,The Sons of Katie Elder, The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, The Thomas Crown Affair. Where Eagles Dare, to name a few. Landi started working in the late 50s as a billboard painter outside Paris’ movie theaters before transitioning to designing movie posters. Landi has a distinctive and expressive style which is instantly recognizable, see the collection of his work below. Landi’s career spanned six decade as he continued working through the early 2000s.
