Luigi Martinati
Luigi Martinati (1893 - 1984)
After the Second World War, Martinati co-founded BCM with other two creative designers, Anselmo Ballester and Alfredo Capitani; the studio produced many posters, and became famous for its “realist” style. In 2017 his poster for Casablanca sold at auction for $478,000 which was, at the time, the second most valuable poster ever sold at auction.
